These missions involve using your MyBrandForce app and our partner, GoSpotCheck, to scan the barcodes of Out Of Stock items in retail locations nationwide every week!
A mission in this program must be started between the hours of 9 AM and 3:30 PM in your time zone. These missions are also recurring, so once completed, they open up again every single week until 2027!
The objective of these missions is to scan the barcodes of items that are out of stock in select categories like grocery, deli, toys, kitchen, pet supplies, and more! The app will guide you through each category that is required and you will confirm if you are present in the right section, so it is easier to keep track and reduce the time it will take you on-site.
You must start the mission in the MyBrandForce app, and then you will be taken to GoSpotCheck. In the mission, you’ll see a task for scanning barcodes. You’ll be able to add barcodes for each category prompted by clicking scan answer. To scan, hold your camera over the Out Of Stock barcode. Since there will be many barcodes, you’ll use the stacked icon on the top right to capture more. You will be notified every time a new barcode is scanned in the app. You can scan each section continuously!

Things To Remember
Getting The App:
Once you have finished the certification for this mission type and passed your quizzes, an email will be sent your way to download the Go Spot Check app. This will be sent to the same contact as your username on the My Brand Force app.
Starting A Mission:
After a mission is claimed from the Available Missions screen, it will be moved to the My Missions screen. From either screen, you can use the Details button to learn more about the mission at hand, like where it is located in relation to you, what days and times it can be started, and the average time it takes to complete it.
Time Constraints:
The only times that you will NOT be able to start a mission you’ve claimed in this program are those the day before and the days of a holiday, the day a location is doing an inventory reset, and if that location was completed the day before already. If you claim a mission on one of these days, your expiration hours will not start decreasing until the next day.
For example, if you claim a mission in this program on a Saturday, but the mission does not open until Monday, the countdown of the hours for you to complete the mission will not start until Monday morning. If you claim a mission in this program but do not wish to, or cannot complete it, navigate to the Details of the mission and choose the “Unclaim” option. You will not be penalized.
During The Scan:
There are two different kinds of questions. The first pops up for each section and asks if any products in this category are out of stock and need to be scanned. If you answer NO, then that means there are no Out Of Stock items in this section, and you will be able to move forward to the next section. Please keep in mind that Brand Agents who falsely answer this question and do not scan the out-of-stock products will not receive full compensation.
