Yes, all Brand Agents are independent contractors! When setting up your profile after you've been brought on, you will sign the Terms of Agreement, Brand Agent Code of Conduct, and fill out a W-9 form. If you make $600 dollars in mission payments or more in one calendar year, you will be issued a 1099-NEC form for the following tax season.

Please note that as an Independent Contractor, Brand Agents are not employees. Employment verification cannot be provided, but the Start Date can be considered as the first day a Brand Agent logs in and creates their profile, and past compensation can be found on the Payments tab of the app.
